Denver Police Department Files

On Aug. 12, 1980, an arson fire killed Ernest Peterson (pictured), John F. Simmons and Thaddeus Hosey at the Jefferson Hotel at 1529 Champa St. "Upon arrival, the building was engulfed in flames," according to the Denver Police Department. No arrests.
